This is a shorter Day in the life post. I Just got so busy and didn’t take as many pictures as I wanted.
Got up in the dark to turn the tea kettle on.
Had kale and rice and beans for breakfast.
Did a little blog surfing while I ate.
Got ready to go out.
This is the new year’s decoration at the house by the train station.
Took the train to 34th Street.
Today was the first day I took real estate classes. And the first one was “real estate tax.”
Got back on the train on my lunch break and went to Cafe Cluny.
I was practically the only one there. Until Isaac Mizrahi and Malcolm Gladwell walked in. Separately.
Drew out lunch by drinking tea and reading more about real estate tax.
Then walked up 7th avenue for my second class (municipalities).
Sat on the other side of the room. There are so many people going into real estate!!
When I got back on the train this man was playing Obla-di obla-da on the steel drums.
Got off in Soho to get V. some pants.
And when I got back on the train, this woman was playing the accordion.
Came home and vegged out for a while, watching movie previews.
Vacuumed and tackled the kitchen mess.
Got into bed with the kitties to read more about real estate.
When V. came home we got ready to go to the park for class. I wore a thermal shirt, 2 sweatshirts, a jacket, scarf and hat. And 2 pairs of tights.
Came home and ordered Indian food.
Collapsed on the couch to watch “Cosmopolis.” We gave it a good shot, because we love Cronenberg, but we didn’t get it at all and went to bed.

PLAID PANTS! so Austin Powers!
Also the best photo is the cats on the bed with the real estate text book….
to expand my last point: as in awesome composition, colour palette etc etc
i am disappointed that you didn’t take pictures of mizrahi OR gladwell, but this is still a cool “day in the life”. ; )
